Woodworking Project Paper Plan to Build Trestle Writing Desk

A practical desk is similar to other trestle board pieces, but includes plenty of nooks, drawer space, and writing surface for many applications. Dove-tailing of the back and side joinery, as well as that of the drawers, adds distinctive charm and fine woodworking. The dove tails are exposed. Replace the dove tails with other joinery to tone it down.

All joinery is shown in actual size, curved workpieces are all in full size and you can measure and trace straight from the drawing. A bill of materials doubles as an exact cutting list, there is a detailed exploded diagram, and all hardware requirements are provided.
