Bentoswell Primer Trowel-Grade Waterproofing Sealant

OCM, Inc.'s Bentoswell Primer is a trowel-grade sodium bentonite-butyl rubber sealant designed to be used as a detail accessory in conjunction with other waterproofing products for below-grade concrete water proofing. The material swells upon contact with water to provide a water-tight seal.

OCM, Inc. BS-PRIMER-10.3 Bentoswell Primer is used as a flashing material around drains, mechanical and electrical penetrations, waterproofing transactions and terminations, inside corners and other critical areas, and on extremely irregular surfaces where conventional waterproofing mem- brane is not practical. The material can be used on structural concrete, masonry, wood, and most metal surfaces. It is also used as a primer for OCM Bentoswell bentonite water swelling strip water stop.

Color: Black

Surfaces to be sealed should be clean and dry. Apply material at temperatures above 25°F. Condition material to 40°F minimum prior to application. Material is typically applied in 1/4” minimum thickness.

Store material at temperatures between 40-110°F (4-43°C). Shelf life is 12 months when stored as recommended.
